我們姐妹幾人一年一度的家族出遊，今年他們為了我，已計劃好上合歡山玩個三天兩夜的，現在我也得放棄了，欸…

親愛的Jobson,

是啊，公民教育就應該教憲法和一般民相關的法律，這才真正是基本。

可惜的是，教育者只想到要將英語列入必修的課程，與自身權利相關知識的傳授，反而輕視了。如果勉強說有什麼訓練，大概是辯論比賽吧。

日本實施了陪審制，民眾也是從實例中才學到法律相關知識，大部份的人，憑的是經驗法則來判斷是非。

最近另一個新聞就是成都太百，你看了有何感觸？

遇到惡房東，徐旭東一樣沒輒，在大陸，風險不會比台灣小。

△Starry night‧Dark Summer’s Day, and another Pendragon’s songs in VU Suites 

British progressive rock band Pendragon (at the early time, known as “Zeus Pendragon”) was formed in 1978. Dark Summer’s Day was from Pendragon’s four tracks EP in 1984. Their debut album appeared in 1985: The Jewel. An active band, a new album called Love over fear will be released in February 2020.

Dark Summer’s Day was selected by Jobson as the 6^th track in his first VU Suite. This suite was named by Sumika in 2012: “Suite of Belladonna—Out of Reach Out of Touch”, and counted by Sumika as the 1^st VU Suite of Jobson’s musical Works. The broadcasting of this suite in 2013 in the Velvet Underground Taipei VU Live House website was during the same week of the letters shown above. 

“Suite of Belladonna—Out of Reach Out of Touch” was retouched and renamed by Jobson himself in 2017: “Prog Ballads” after eliminating English rock band UFO’s “Belladonna”. Since 2018, when this suite was broadcasted in VU Live House Taipei official website, Jobson renamed it with a subtitle:《Prog Ballads前衛搖滾抒情小品集》.

Many of Pendragon’s songs were featured by Jobson in VU Suites, such as:

＊Indigo in Jobson’s 3^rd VU Suite: “Suite of The Victory of Prince Yukris—That’s what the wise lady said ” (《尤克理斯組曲—That’s what the wise lady said》)

＊Sister Bluebird in Jobson’s 15^th VU Suite:  “The Suite of No Consolation of Jobson” (=the suite renamed by Jobson in 2017 as:《古典搖滾組曲－雪之祭》)

＊Lady Luck in Jobson’s 23^rd VU Suite: “The Suite of Separate Ways—Forget Her” (《告別組曲—Baby Come Back – Forget Her》= the suite renamed by Jobson as: “ 70’80’ Pop Rock Suite—Back to The Old Days “)

＊The Wisdom fo Solomon in Jobson’s 26^th VU Suite: “Won’t Be Coming Back Suite”.

△星夜‧黑暗夏日，與絲絨組曲裡的Pendragon精選歌曲 

在距今六年前2013年7月13日至21月當週，與上述書信同時期，台北地下絲絨搖滾餐廳 VU Live House官方網站播放的絲絨組曲，是以瑞典藝術搖滾樂團Landberk所唱Dreamdance為首的前衛搖滾風格的絲絨組曲，。在2012年，Sumika將它命名為《Belladonna組曲—Out of reach out of touch》（參見2012.5/23的信件）。這個版本也是台北地下絲絨VU Live House負責人Jobson於2008年開始編製絲絨組曲以來的第一支絲絨組曲的原始版本。

Dark Summer’s Day（黑暗的夏日）被Jobson選入這支絲絨組曲的第六首。英國搖滾樂團Pendragon是從1978年前衛搖滾樂團風格出發，在1984初推出四首單曲的黑膠唱片合輯Fly High Fall Far（飛高落遠），Dark Summer’s Day是其中一首。翌年在美國推出的首張專輯The Jewel，獲得好評。後來多以新前衛（Neo Prog）風格視之。

Sumika原先命名的《Belladonna 組曲—Out of reach out of touch》的版本，是2017年Jobson刪除UFO樂團的Belladonna後，改版重新命名的《Prog Ballads》的前身和原型版本。2018年播放時，Jobson再命名為《Prog Ballads—前衛搖滾抒情小品集》，指的都是原型版本《Belladonna 組曲—Out of reach out of touch》的瘦身版。從整支組曲的底色基調來感受，及整體氛圍和旋律轉折的鋪陳呼應，還是改版前的早期原型版本最經得起耳朵的考驗。

Pendragon樂團有多首歌曲被Jobson選入不同的絲絨組曲，以下的選曲，可至VU Live House台北地下絲絨官網碰碰運氣聆聽 (因每週播放一支不同的組曲)，欣賞各首經過Jobson精心配置後在各組曲所凸顯的特色：
